A Family Photoshoot in Idyllwild

This family photoshoot in Idyllwild was such a dream! Niko and I have shot photos of CC before with her immediate family. This was a fun switch to documenting her with her husband and baby daughter. CC is one of the kindest people we have ever met so working with her is an absolute joy. Her husband Jason and daughter Cora were both so sweet as well. They dressed warmly which was such a bonus! Idyllwild in the early spring can sometimes still be chilly. This was so important because they were comfortable throughout the entire photo shoot.

We were surprised to see that the meadows were still a reddish-orange color! Normally the meadows are green, so these colors definitely mixed things up a bit! It created such a warm beautiful vibe for their first photoshoot together as a family! The weather was chilly so we took breaks throughout the shoot to wrap baby Cora up in her blanket! She handled the shoot like a champ. We cannot wait to document this family again in the future. It is such a cool experience documenting photos for families as their kids get older. We see the parents grow with them as well. Such a special opportunity that Niko and I are so grateful for. We definitely recommend this location for any photoshoots! This family photoshoot in Idyllwild was special for many reasons, but the best part was we all had a memorable experience.
